Asolytics provides access to powerful yet easy-to-use ASO tools. It does not use third-party services to collect data but takes information directly from app stores in real-time. We’ll walk you through all the essentials so you can get started with the platform right away.

You can access all the tools from the sidebar where all the tools are divided into categories: Track, Analyze, Collect, and Optimize. Main data about the app is kept in the Dashboard, which can also be reached from the sidebar.

My Apps

To start the ASO, specify the country and choose the app you are interested in – your app, your competitor’s app, or an app you are interested in.

Add the App to “My Apps”

This is the first step before a thorough analysis of the app's success, competitors, and semantics. By doing so, you’ll receive the main app KPIs right away. Discover the app’s ASO Score and see how it is rated in the App Store.

Add the App to “My Apps”

ASO Score is an Asolytics rate based on app KPIs: app listings optimization, app rating and reviews in the App Store; update frequency; app category visibility, and keyword visibility. All of these features contribute to the score. The highest score value is 100.

Rate shows how the app is rated in App Store.

After brief app analytics, you can go to Asolytics tools to explore app KPIs thoroughly and collect effective semantics.

Dashboard

The Dashboard contains full information about the chosen app. Here you get:

  • An overview of the app ASO score;

  • Estimation of how well app elements are optimized;

  • Tracking of keywords and competitors;

  • Tips and insights on how to improve the app elements;

  • Comparison of your app’s metrics with the top apps within the same category;

  • Visibility metrics within the chosen country;

  • App Info.

Track, Collect, Analyze, and Optimize

All the features are divided into sections. We recommend using all tools in a row to get a streamlined ASO and avoid spending extra time. Still, at any point, you can switch to any option you need, or come to see the progress.

  • You can track all the keywords and competitors lists in the Tracking section: Tracking Keywords and Competitors.

  • To start the analysis, you have to choose your app's direct competitors Collect section – Competitors Finder. In the same section, you can reach all the tools for collecting keywords (Recommended, Metadata, Ranking).

  • Analyze section includes tools for analyzing market and keywords effectiveness in terms of app store competition. Tools for this are App, Keyword, Live Search, Keywords Autosuggestion, and Store Charts.

  • Optimize section contains the Meta Editor tool for improving your app title and description.

Let’s see what particular tools are made for and what goals you’ll achieve using them for your ASO.

Track

These tools save all the progress with the keywords and competitors. You can always return to this section to see how many competitors you already chose or how many keywords are tracked for the particular app.

  • Tracking Keywords

This is where the semantic core for your app is kept. You can add keywords manually and track their real-time performance in app stores. Or you can collect keywords from keyword tools – they'll appear in Tracking.

  • Competitors

The tab shows all the possible competitors found by Asolytics algorithms, including their scores, app store metrics, categories, updated info, listing elements, and version history.

Track, Collect, Analyze, and Optimize tool

Collect

This category includes tools for deep keyword analysis based on the app’s competitors. To start the analysis, you have to choose your direct competitors from the huge list. Based on it, keywords algorithms will collect all the keywords in real-time from the app stores.

  • Competitors Finder

The tool gives you the complete list of competitors’ apps found for the chosen keywords. Sort these apps by marking them as competitors or non-competitors. We recommend choosing as many apps as possible (about 100) so that Asolytics tools work most accurately.

  • Recommended

This tool retrieves all the possible keywords that are relevant to your app. It is an effective way to get insights when building the semantic core.

  • Metadata

This is where popular keywords from your app’s and competitors’ apps' metadata are kept.

  • Ranking

This tool retrieves all the keywords by which the selected app is ranked. You can see metrics for each keyword and the rank of your app for the keyword. You can sort keywords with the filters and categories you need and add the desired query to your tracker.

Analyze

This section includes tools for analyzing market and keywords effectiveness in terms of competition in the app stores. Here you’ll get insights, metrics, list of keywords, and app charts that will show you the full picture of your app category.

  • App

Explore the performance of any tool you are interested in. Besides its ASO metrics, App tool estimates the app’s revenue and shows its income charts.

  • Keyword

Discover whether the word you are interested in is effective in terms of ASO. See its metrics and find out whether your competitors use this keyword. Also, you get a list of apps that are ranged with the keyword you chose.

  • Live Search

Explore real-time search results for a specific keyword. You get a list of apps and popular categories and get insights based on average metrics for the top 10 apps.

  • Keyword Autosuggestion

Get suggestions for any keyword. They appear as autocompleted options for the words typed in the app stores’ search bars by users.

  • Store Charts

Explore the top apps for the categories you are interested in and see their performance: ASO score, rating, and update frequency. You can filter apps by category, access type, and IAP options.

Optimize

Crucial app listing elements are the title, subtitle, and description. These elements must contain effective keywords to make the app visible.

  • Meta Editor

Collect all the relevant keywords for the app's title and description based on the competitor's metadata. The keyword you get should then be added to your app’s metadata so that the app store would rank the app higher.
