Create New Market Report
To get started with Market Research, hit “Create New” to create a new market report. Select the app you want to analyze, along with its main competitors. This variables go by default if you already started to work with your app. Don’t forget to choose the specific period for creating the report. Hit ‘Create Report.’
Wait couple of minutes until the report is generated. It can take some time.
Open Report & Analyze Data
When the status is ‘Done’, open the report by clicking on it and get the analysis going. With the report, you will evaluate the apps you’ve picked based on the following criteria:
Installs & Revenue section shows how many times an app was downloaded and how much money it's bringing in. Explore an app's popularity and its revenue by exploring the presented data and switching from ‘By Countries’ to ‘By Apps’ to get mpre details.
Market Installs Dynamics in Google Play track how an app's downloads change over time in the Google Play Store. Analyze an app's popularity trends.
Installs Share by Countries shows where in the world an app is getting popular and where it loses positions. It helps target your audience better.
Top Apps by Installs shows apps that are downloaded the most in your app’s niche.
Top Competitors by Competitors User Ratings shows how users rate an app’s competitors. Analyze which competitors get the highest rating.
Average Competitors Rate Worldwide shows the average rating of competitors globally.
Top Countries by Category Positions shows in which countries your app dominates.
Free Category Charts show the top free apps in your app’s category. Feel free to choose either Top 50 or Top 100 list.
Grossing Category Charts shows the top money-making apps in your app’s category. You can choose either Top 50 or Top 100 list.
Top Competitors by Update Rate shows how often competitors update their apps.
Competitors Pricing Intelligence helps to figure out how competitors price their apps or in-app purchases. This will help you strategize your pricing plan.
Top Apps With the Highest/Lowest iAP pinpoints apps with the most expensive or cheapest in-app purchases. Know your competition's cash moves.
Competitors Age Analysis show how long your competitors have been in the the app store.
Top 10 Youngest/Oldest Competitors shows 10 newest and oldest apps in the app store from your competitors.
