Metadata Keywords

Metadata Keywords extracts the keywords from the title and subtitle of your app and apps you have marked as competitors.

You can see what keywords are used in your competitors' metadata and implement the most effective ones in your app listings. It is another way to replenish apps’ semantics, specifically metadata.

Application: Get keywords from the metadata of your app and your competitors' ones for your apps’ metadata.

Goal: Semantic core (metadata) improvement to increase app visibility in app stores.

Time: Up to 5 minutes.

1. App Keywords

Here are popular keywords that Asolytics’ algorithms have recognized in your app’s metadata. Their total number is indicated in parentheses next to the section’s title.

Next to each word is a number indicating its popularity, that is, how often users use it to search for apps. Add the keyword you are interested in to your Tracking Keywords by clicking “+”, or add all the listed options from this section by clicking “Add All Keywords”.

2. Competitors Keywords

This section contains popular keywords extracted from your direct competitors' metadata. The total number of words is indicated in parentheses next to the section title.

The keywords are listed in descending order of popularity (their metrics are listed next to them); the most frequently used are listed first. Add the word or phrase to the Tracking Keywords by clicking on it, or add all the options listed with “Add All Keywords”.

If necessary, export the keywords from both sections to an Excel file.

If you add or remove apps from your competitors’ lists, the list of Metadata keywords changes. So come back to Metadata after updating the competitors' apps list. Keywords chosen from this Metadata section are displayed in the Tracking Keywords. Open it to analyze their performance and delete them if they don’t suit your goals.

Now move on to the next step: Ranking Keywords. This is where you can reveal all the keywords by which your app or your competitors apps are ranked.
